Update Feb/25/2021 : Lady , our poor girl; her life has not been easy at all, a life of survival, until she arrived at Scooby. She lived crammed with a bunch of dogs, with hardly any attention of any kind from her former ” owner ”, without having seen a veterinarian in her life (sick they were all), without space in which to move, surely having to fight for food … Lady is a long forgotten dog, no one has ever cared about her and it is possible that no one ever will… She does not know anything about the “normal” things that any socialized dog knows, she is not young, nor especially striking, and she is also mix-breed … it fulfills all the characteristics by which it goes unnoticed in the eyes of potential adopters, it also requires dedication, time and experience to be able to help her, although in truth what is required the most is having a big heart and the desire to help who really needs help. Several of Lady’s companions have been adopted and have responded very well to family life, she is very reserved now, it is difficult for her to get close but if you spend enough time she ends up eating from your hand. We do not know if one day Lady will get to know what it is to have a home and a family, if ever in her life she will go for a walk and enjoy that great pleasure that others enjoy every day. LADY is a 7.5+ year old mix-breed, girl ( Born 9/10/2013 ) She arrived at Scooby on Oct/18/2018 ; from Villamayor (Salamanca)
Arrived together with 19 other dogs, seized due to terrible animal abuse and treatment. They had almost no contact with people before
Lady is a very sad, shy girl ; this very unfortunate poor Angel lived a terrible life of mistreat and neglect. And Lady is such a sweet, innocent, good girl with her very sad looking eyes…the reflection of a very hurt soul…
Most of her friends are already adopted, Lady is still waiting for her chance…
At her senior age she is in urgent need of a loving, patience, calm Home where she feels safe and loved; finally… after all those years of missery…,please
