Video Dec/6/2020 : Anni,  many people may know her because she has been in the courtyard of the entrance to the shelter of Medina for more than 2 years, the courtyard of the seniors, although she is not a senior, she is 4 years old and very scared. She always barked at you as someone passed as saying “don’t come near me ”. But yesterday they had to fix the fence in this senior yard and they had to get her out of there. Anni was placed in a small yard alone, to try to help her socialize and the poor thing was like this😢, she hardly moved😔 so very scared she was. This poor girl would need an experienced family who wants to help her

ANNI

ANNI (Chip 73234) is a 4 year old Galga-X, female (born 2017) She arrived at Scooby on Nov/16/2018 ; From Medina del Campo (Valladolid)
Lovely, sweet, innocent girl but a scared Angel ; Poor Anni… we can only imagine what happened to you…
Anni is a special girl. She is not very well socialized ( socialized*) and avoids human contact; she adores playing with her blankets
Social and good with the other dogs ; she loves playing and with them ( she used to live with the oldies in paddock-11)
ANNI is in urgent need of a calm, patience, loving, experienced home, to gain her trust in people and become a happy girl, finally
Please do not let Anni spend her 3rd Christmas in the shelter…

SCARED ANGELS “
It is really tough to promote these poor scared Angels, since almost nobody ever asks for them …
This is terribly unfair because their behaviour is a result of bad experiences with people before arriving here. Neglect, abuse, or indifference are among the things they were subjected to in their previous lives, so shouldn’t they be the ones we most care for and pamper to help them get the opportunity they didn’t have? To compensate them for the damage they have suffered?
People may think that it’s too difficult, and it’s true that every case is different, and that some of these shy Angels may never completely recover from their trauma. However, what is also true, that they always do get better when shown love and care.
There is nothing that makes us happier than seeing one of these shy Angels adopted by conscious, patient and loving people , because we wish each of them has an opportunity…please
